Robert (Bob) H. Todd (born 1942) as an American engineer and Emeritus Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Brigham Young University (BYU) and a fellow of the American Society for Engineering Education.〔Announcement of Todd being made an ASEE fellow at ''et.byu.edu''. Accessed July 8, 2009〕 Todd received a bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge and an MS from Stanford University, and holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University. He then joined the faculty of Brigham Young University in 1989, where he was appointed Professor of Mechanical Engineering. He developed BYU's mechanical engineering capstone program which was begun in 1990.
